What is Mikey Yaw?
Mikey Yaw is an NYC-inspired streetwear and artwear brand built around abstract art, Bauhaus design influence, and cultural commentary. Every piece is printed on demand — made when you order it, not sitting in a warehouse somewhere. The brand is for people who care about what they wear and want something that actually means something.
What is artwear?
Artwear is clothing where the design is the point — not the logo, not the hype, not the resale value. Mikey Yaw designs are rooted in abstract art, illustration, and cultural storytelling. The garment is the canvas. If you need a brand name to explain why a piece is worth wearing, it's not artwear.
Where are you based?
New York City. The brand is NYC-born and the design sensibility reflects it — dense, layered, direct, and a little confrontational in the best way.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. Mikey Yaw ships within the United States only.
How long does shipping take?
Because every item is made to order, production takes 7–10 business days before your order ships. This isn't a delay — it's how print on demand works. Your piece is being made specifically for you. Worth the wait, and better for the planet than a warehouse full of unsold inventory.
What sizes do you carry?
XS through 6XL across most styles. Size charts are available on individual product pages at mikeyyaw.com. When in doubt, size up for a relaxed fit.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
Is there a discount for new customers?
Yes. Sign up for the Mikey Yaw mailing list and you'll get 10% off your first order. No spam, no daily blasts — just updates when something worth knowing about happens.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Mikey Yaw does not issue refunds.
Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that arrived damaged or were not as described. All exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee. To start an exchange, email with your order number and reason. Do not ship anything back without a return authorization — unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
Clearance items, final sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for exchange.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Contact with your order number and a photo of the damage within 30 days of delivery. Damaged items are eligible for exchange under the return policy.
Why is there a restocking fee for exchanges?
Every Mikey Yaw item is made to order. When an exchange comes in, a new item has to be produced. The 25% restocking fee reflects the real cost of that production.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
Because production starts quickly after an order is placed, cancellations and changes may not be possible. Contact as soon as possible if you need to make a change and we'll do what we can.
Why print on demand?
Because the alternative is overproduction — brands manufacturing thousands of units, selling half, and destroying or landfilling the rest. Print on demand means nothing gets made that isn't wanted. Lower waste, no excess inventory, no artificial scarcity. It's a structural choice, not a marketing angle.
Are your products sustainable?
The production model is inherently more sustainable than traditional manufacturing — no overproduction, no unsold stock, no bulk waste. Print on demand means your item exists because you ordered it, and not before.
Do you offer wholesale or custom orders?
Not currently. Mikey Yaw is direct-to-consumer only.
How do I contact Mikey Yaw?
